My name is Chip Stevens

With a focus on user experience, I help visually communicate to audiences helping clients solve their problems.

Summary: I’m an Interactive Art Director and Adjunct Professor with over six years of experience in web design and front-end development in an agency environment. With proven–and growing skills–in user experience, I enjoy helping clients solve problems. I come with a dynamic understanding of inbound marketing, advertising and social networking best-practices. I have an iron strong work ethic and the ability to remain focused and meet deadlines. I’m a self-starter that can work individually as well as within a team or–most productively–leading one.

Education: I earned a B.S in Mass Communications from VCU with a focus in creative advertising. I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Product Innovation at the da Vinci Center, also at VCU.

Specialties: Interactive art direction, strategic & conceptual problem solving, user experience, web design/redesign & realignment.

Skills: Rapid prototyping, responsive front-end development with HTML5, CSS 3 & JQuery. Comfortable incorporating and editing PHP. End to End development in CMS's/COS such as Expression Engine, Wordpress and HubSpot COS.
